About the Farm
Chris and Vanessa Rogers have kept bees since 2007 and now manage close to 70 colonies in the Sebago Lake area from Backwoods Bee Farm at 106 Page Road in Windham. Both are EAS Master Beekeepers, one of the most demanding credentials in the craft.
The farm sells local honey and beeswax products plus everything a beekeeper could need: package bees, nucs, northern-raised queens June through August, Italian queens May through August, and a full range of supplies as an authorized Betterbee and Humble Abodes dealer, backed by education and practical advice.
