Daniela's road to Dancing Harvest Farm ran through the New York City Ballet, where she danced professionally before trading the stage for the field. She trained through the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, worked farms from Dickinson College to Fenway Park's rooftop, spent a year in Brazil with family farms in Ceará, and started Dancing Harvest on leased land in South Portland in 2021.

The farm grows with organic practices, building fertility with compost, mulch, and cover crops, working by hand instead of heavy machinery, and skipping chemical sprays and GMO seeds. A 16-week summer CSA runs June through September with pick-your-own flowers and herbs from July, and weekly harvests span greens, roots, alliums, and fruiting crops, with local meat, egg, and honey add-ons.
