Goronson Farm in Scarborough began in 2014 when Maureen Goronson settled onto the property with heirloom ducks, chickens, and hard-to-find fruit trees. MOFGA approved the farm as organic in late 2018, and it has sold specialty fruit and farm-grown goods since 2019. It also operates as a no-kill sanctuary, so the birds here live out their full lives.
The hens and rare-breed ducks are pastured and free-range, and their eggs are the farm's calling card. Alongside them you'll find organic tomatoes, fruit, flowers, herbs, and dahlia tubers, plus hand-ground peppermint, lemon balm, and bee balm teas, dried herb bundles, and apple cider vinegar.
