About the Farm
Greener Days Farm spreads across 157 acres in Waldoboro, purchased in 2011 by Laura and Craig, who moved to Maine in 2014 to farm it. Craig farms and builds full time; Laura splits her time with work at Efficiency Maine, and the whole farm runs off-grid on solar power.
They specialize in heritage breeds: Large Black pigs, Katahdin sheep, Saxony and Muscovy ducks, heritage chickens, and rabbits, raised on pasture, woodlots, and crop fields with intensive rotational grazing and organic grain when needed.
