The Jillson family opened their first vegetable stand on Elm Street in Sabattus village in 1966, outgrew it by 1975, and built the current farm and sugarhouse at 143 Jordan Bridge Road in the winter of 1988-89. Three moves later, the operation is still all Jillson.

Each spring they tap 1,700 maple trees as members of the Maine Maple Producers, and the sugarhouse anchors a farm that also grows fresh vegetables and flowers. The stand carries Maine-raised chickens and turkeys by advance order, Maine Country Butter, fresh eggs, jams, honey, and pickles, and they ship anywhere in the United States.
