About the Farm

Medomak River Oysters grows on the eastern shore of the Pemaquid Peninsula, where the Medomak River meets Muscongus Bay, water that has supported fishing and shipbuilding for two centuries. The wreck of the schooner Cora Cressey still rests just east of the docks, and the oyster farm beside it bears her name. The operation is now part of Community Shellfish in Bremen.

Oysters from the Cora Cressy farm are the specialty, joined by lobsters caught in Muscongus Bay and the Medomak by their own fishermen, clams bought directly from harvesters digging the Medomak, Pemaquid, and Damariscotta, plus scallops and seasonal Maine shellfish.
