New Beat Farm in Knox is Adrienne Lee and Ken Lamson's 94 acres of fields and forest, with six tillable acres, two in permanent low-till beds, five high tunnels, and additional ground worked by Belgian and Percheron draft horses. Adrienne has over 20 seasons of organic farming behind her and co-founded Daybreak Growers Alliance; Ken manages the fields, livestock, and the booth at the Belfast Farmers' Market.
They grow organic vegetables and cut flowers, offer floral design and CSAs including a Free Choice Market Share and Spring Flower Share, and back it all with soil, water, and plant testing, adjusting crop plans in response to PFAS findings on some fields.
