North Branch Farm spreads over 330 acres of fields and woodland in Monroe, MOFGA-certified organic and worked by Seth Yentes and Anna Shapley-Quinn, who bought the land in 2009 and are raising their two children on it. The farm runs on an honest mix of horsepower, hand power, and tractor power.

Grass-fed beef and a one-acre u-pick highbush blueberry field are the anchors, joined by seed garlic, apples, and pears. They press cider, make cider vinegar, and run a bare-root fruit tree nursery for anyone planting an orchard of their own.
