Ricker Hill Orchards has been growing fruit on the same Turner hillside since 1803, nearly nine generations of the same family tending apples, pumpkins, and Christmas trees. It is one of the oldest continuously farmed orchards in Maine, and it wears its history lightly: this is a place built for spending a fall afternoon.

Visitors come for pick-your-own apples and orchard tours, then stay for fresh apple cider donuts and maple taffy. The farm also presses and ferments its own hard cider, never from concentrate, poured in a tasting room and sold in the cider shop alongside baked goods made on site.
