About the Farm
The Maine Oyster Company was founded in 2016 by John Herrigel, who grew up in the West Point community of Phippsburg and built a business around sharing Maine's working waterfront. They partner with more than 30 oyster farms along the coast.
You can taste your way through those farms at the raw bar at 38 Portland Street in Portland, book a shucking class or oyster farm tour out of Basecamp Lodge in Phippsburg, or have fresh oysters and lobster shipped overnight straight from the farms.
