Thunder Road Farm in Corinna has been a Peavey family operation for four generations. Charles "Ted" Peavey bought the land in 1939, passed it to his son Lester in 1945, and Lester handed it to Charlie in 1980. In 2004 Barbara Peavey planted the first six-acre corn maize and a one-acre play area, and the farm has been a fall destination ever since, run today with the help of their five children.

Around 35 acres of mixed fruits and vegetables supply the roadside stand on Route 7, along with homemade jams, jellies, pickles, relishes, baked sweet breads, Maine maple products, and dried beans. In season you can pick your own strawberries and pumpkins, then get lost in the maize.
