Bumpus Farm in South Paris began as Bernie Bumpus's small hobby herd of 10 to 12 Belted Galloways. Micah and Aaron met Bernie in 2018 while grooming snowmobile trails, started helping with cattle and haying, and eventually leased and then bought an old dairy farm to grow the operation, keeping Bernie's farm name.

The beef is 100% Belted Galloway, raised with rotational grazing and open-sided, well-ventilated housing. Pork and poultry are fed exclusively Poulin Grain from Newport, Vermont, which the farm credits with keeping those animals off medications and antibiotics entirely. They also sell eggs, hay, and feeds and minerals from Poulin, Conklin, and Protexia.
