About the Farm
Chalet Farms works 125 acres in Hampden around an 1860 farmhouse, run by a family of five who came east from Colorado. Renovating the old place turned up an 1875 edition of the Northern Border newspaper under the floorboards, and their farm stays have earned Premier Host awards from Airbnb and VRBO.
The farm produces raw, unfiltered wildflower honey, including a creamy whipped variety, free-range eggs hand-collected daily, humanely raised whole Freedom Ranger chickens, and square bales of first and second cut hay.
