Chestnut Hill Tree Farm in Fairfield is a small family farm started in 2019, with thousands of Christmas trees in the ground: Balsam, Fraser, and Douglas fir, Blue Spruce, and Scotch Pine, ready for cutting each year starting the day after Thanksgiving.

The rest of the year the farm grows organic vegetables, with livestock rotating through the pastures to prepare ground for planting while keeping the soil healthy. The on-site market and bakery are open daily on the honor system, stocked with their own goods and Maine-made products from several local vendors.
