Deer Isle Oyster Co raises and hand-harvests oysters in Long Cove off Deer Isle, cold, clean water that gives them a clean, snappy taste of Maine's ocean. In Stonington the company runs The Oyster Shop at 11 N Main Street and The Stoop Oyster Bar, and 90-minute on-the-water farm tours end the best way possible: oysters pulled from the farm and shucked for you right on the water.
