About the Farm

Eros Oyster is three generations of the Gaffney family working a small saltwater farm together on Robinhood Cove, Georgetown Island. What started as a shared love of the water became a working oyster farm.

Their Atlantic oysters grow slowly, three to four years in floating cages in the cove's cold water, tumbled often to build hard, deeply cupped 2.5-to-3-inch shells, then harvested by hand. Orders ship overnight, typically the day after harvest, from April through December.
