About the Farm
Glidden Point Oyster Farms was founded by Greg Foote, a Maine Maritime Academy graduate and former marine engineer who traded engine rooms for oyster leases.
The farm grows its oysters in the Damariscotta and Nonesuch Rivers, with Casco Bay oysters sold as Little Busters. Everything is harvested to order and shipped straight from the farm, going out Wednesdays for Thursday delivery so most orders arrive within 24 to 48 hours of leaving the water.
