About the Farm
Maple Rush Sugar House is a three-man family operation in Sabattus: Jordan Davis, his father Scott, and his brother-in-law Randy Wheeler, boiling together since they founded the sugar house in 2017. Every drop of their syrup comes from more than 800 maple trees right in Sabattus, and they handle each step themselves, from tapping and collection through boiling and bottling.
The off season is spent in the woods too, managing and conserving the forest that feeds the evaporator. Alongside 100% Maine maple syrup they make maple candy, kettle corn, and cotton candy, and they open the doors to visitors every Maine Maple Weekend.
