Nettie Fox Farm sits on 33 acres along the Kennebec Road in Newburgh, the same road Molly grew up on. She started growing vegetables in 2005 as an apprentice at Peacemeal Farm and launched Nettie Fox in 2009; Everett joined her in 2013 after running Del Rio Farm and apprenticing on farms nearby. Between them they bring two decades of vegetable growing to four acres of MOFGA certified organic ground.
The farm feeds the greater Bangor area through a weekly summer CSA, the Bangor Farmers' Market, and an online farm stand. A week's share might hold head lettuce, spinach, basil, carrots, garlic scapes, kale, cucumbers, summer squash, tomatoes, beans, potatoes, beets, and acorn squash, picked at its peak.
