About the Farm
Randy started Souder Station Farm in Winterport after returning from US Army active duty, and he's open about what the farm gave him: purpose, fulfillment, and community when reintegrating into civilian life wasn't easy. His standard is personal: if he wouldn't feed it to his son, he won't sell it to you.
The farm offers 100% pasture-raised Maine meats from its own fields and trusted neighboring farms: grass-fed and finished beef, pastured pork with nitrate-free bacon, and chickens raised in small batches outdoors, all without antibiotics, steroids, or hormones, following organic practices with non-GMO and organic grains whenever possible. Sampler bundles make it easy to start, and the farm has been featured in the Bangor Daily News and on MOFGA's Common Ground Radio.
